Signing in & joining a library

This page covers how you get into SlideSource Library: signing in to an account you already have, and joining a library for the first time from an invitation.

There are two ways to sign in, depending on how your library is set up:

  • Password — enter your email and password. Sign-in is protected by a reCAPTCHA challenge to confirm you’re a person, not a bot.
  • Single sign-on (SSO / SAML) — if your organization uses SSO, you sign in through your company’s identity provider instead of a SlideSource password. Use the SSO option and authenticate with your normal work credentials.

If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, you’ll be asked for a one-time code after your password. Enter the code from your authenticator or the message you receive to finish signing in.

If you can’t remember your password, choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen. You’ll receive a password-reset email with a link to set a new one. (If your library uses SSO, reset your password through your organization’s identity provider instead.)

New accounts confirm their address through email verification — you’ll receive a message with a link to verify before your account is fully active. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder and confirm the address is correct.

You don’t create your own library — a library admin invites you into an existing one. To join:

  1. Open the invitation. You’ll receive an email with an invitation link. Click it to get started.

  2. Register or sign in. Set up your account (create a password and verify your email), or, if your organization uses SSO, sign in through SSO — no separate password to create.

  3. You’re in. You’re added to a group that scopes you to specific collections. From then on you see and do exactly what that group’s access allows.
