Quickstart

The fastest way to get a SlideSource Library ready to show, whether you’re standing up a demo or setting up a new library for the first time. Work through these in order. Each step links to the full how-to, and together they walk the whole story: structure, content, reuse, users, sharing, governance, and currency.

  1. Configure your landing page: brand the home page so the library looks like yours from the first click.

  2. Create collections and folders: set up the structure your slides, presentations, and documents live in.

  3. Add custom fields: the metadata that powers search and governance.

  4. Upload sample slides: get real content into the library.

  5. Build a sample presentation: assemble a deck from those slides to show reuse and versioning.

  6. Add your first users: groups, permissions, and invitations.

  7. Share a presentation: a link an outside viewer can open, no login required.

  8. Add a document: supporting evidence alongside the slides.

  9. Configure approvals: turn on the governance story.

  10. Show vCheck on a downloaded deck: prove that decks already in the field stay current.
