Keyboard shortcuts

A handful of shortcuts make SlideSource Library much faster to work in.

Shortcut / gesture	What it does
Ctrl-click / Cmd-click a link (or middle-click)	Opens the item in the other pane — the main way to work in split view
Ctrl + V	Pastes a copied image into an Attachments field (works only after you click into the field first)
Ctrl + Enter	Posts the comment you’re writing in the comments section of slide properties
Esc	Closes the full-screen slide viewer / lightbox
Type e.g. bu3 in Lightning Search	Matches the VID BU-3 (VID shortcut)
Back / Forward buttons in the pane toolbar	Move through that pane’s own history

Tip

Use Ctrl-click on Windows or Command-click on Mac to open content in the other pane. Keep your source content on one side and your deck, or the slide you’re editing, on the other, then drag items between them.
